The on and off-road capable Grand Vitara compact SUV will arrive with a new model, named the Ultimate Adventure Edition, featuring black chrome-finished 18-inch alloy wheels, water resistant two-tone heated seats, leather wrapped steering wheel, and integrated outside turn and fog lamps at a special value oriented price. Beginning in spring of 2012, the Grand Vitara will show off its new profile with a new rear tailgate design, eliminating the spare tire on some models. In addition, the Grand Vitara receives improvements to its class-exclusive standard navigation system, now featuring voice command recognition and an enhanced suite of standard interactive features such as traffic information, weather forecast, 3D maps including lane guidance, Google Local Point-of-Interest Search, among the highlights. The Grand Vitara’s starting price increases by $200 in thenew model year, and overall weighted average price increase is limited to just over 1% for the new model year.

2012 sees the addition of an all-new trim series called the Ultimate Adventure Edition – it is available in both 2WD and 4WD configurations.
