Aside from the electric blue finish, the Bali Blue RS450 benefits from a long list of additions including new side skirts, LED daylight running lights, yellow calipers, Kahn illuminated kick plates, and Kahn undercar lighting. Land Rover Defender DC100Project Kahn dreamed up. Project Kahn dreamed up four different variants of the DC100, the first of which simply features a white paint job along with the tuning firm’s trademark multi spoke alloy wheels finished in black.
The second Land Rover Defender DC100 proposal builds upon the first adding a deep orange hue for the roof and some body trims parts such as the mirrors and front panel air vents, plus roof rails that lug a surfboard.
The British tuner’s third take includes a two-tone color theme along with the addition of alloy wheels, roof rails and the relocation of the spare tire from the rear hatch to the roof.
Last but least, is the most intriguing project of the four, a military themed DC100 with a small pickup truck bed.

the new Defender isn’t as far away as you may think as Land Rover also confirmed today that production of the new model is “is intended for 2015″.
Commenting on the DC100 concept car, Land Rover’s design boss, Gerry McGovern, had this to say:
“Replacing the iconic Defender is one of the biggest challenges in the automotive design world; it is a car that inspires people worldwide. This isn’t a production-ready concept but the beginning of a four-year journey to design a relevant Defender for the 21st century.”
What this means is that Land Rover plans to gauge the level of interest in the design of the DC100, be that positive or negative reactions, and make the necessary changes or perhaps even change the styling direction if it fails to ignite some passion.
“We plan to engage with existing and potential customers to help us finalise the details of the new vehicle,” says Land Rover’s global brand director, John Edwards. “One thing’s for sure, it’s going to be an exciting journey, and we can’t wait to get going.”

Frankfurt Motor Show New Land Rover Defender Concept
and the first step will reportedly be the unveiling of a new Land Rover Defender concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Land Rover director John Edwards told Autocar magazine that he “can’t imagine not producing a successor” to the four-wheel drive that established the brand. However the market is now much more competitive and Land Rover’s owner Tata Motors must find a way to make the new Defender a credible rival that can command higher prices without losing its legendary character.
Edwards admits that for the project, which is scheduled to begin production in 2015, to be viable, annual sales must be in the 60-80,000 units region. In comparison, only 18,000 Defenders were sold worldwide last year. Edwards says that, like the 4×4 it intends to replace, it must be versatile and reliable enough to adapt to army use. Currently Land Rover is considering all options for the new Defender’s underpinnings, from using a modified Discovery chassis to designing something completely new.

For Performance, Citroën DS4 Racing heavily modified version of the same 1.6-liter turbocharged-four used by MINI on its JCW models prepared by Citroën Racing.
