2012 Hyundai Veloster Turbocharger Version For Australian Market
This is The 2012 Hyundai Veloster Turbocharger Version For Australian Market . We’ve known about the turbocharged version of the Veloster since January, but Hyundai only recently made it official. Following the announcement on the debut of the North American Velsoter Turbo at the Detroit Motor Show in January of 2012, the company’s Australian arm revealed today that a 1.6-liter turbo petrol engine would join the three-door sport hatchback’s line-up.
The naturally aspirated version of the Veloster will launch in Australia early next year, with the turbo model to follow at a later date. The Turbo model will get a 1.6-liter four-cylinder unit with a twin-scroll turbocharger, an air guided intercooler, direct fuel injection system and dual CVVT, delivering 204HP at 6,000 rpm and 265Nm (195 lb-ft) at 1,750 rpm. Hyundai has said that these numbers will slightly differ depending on the market.

SEMA Preview 2011 Hyundai Genesis Coupe Tuning by Enjuku Racing. The SEMA-bound Genesis Coupe is being fitted with a room full of new elements, including a modified chassis, BC Racing BR-Type coilovers, custom headers, a new exhaust system, and a set of 19″ BC Racing TA02 wheels. Most importantly, Enjuku Racing transplanted supercharged LS1 powertrain to take the place of the Genesis Coupe’s existing all-aluminum, 306-horsepower, DOHC 3.8-liter V6 engine.
Once Enjuku Racing finishes the build, the company has plans to unveil the tuned-up sports car at SEMA where it will be displayed in the BC Racing Suspension and Wheels booth.

According to data released by Nissan today, in August, the first full month of availability of the new Versa sedan, the subcompact model sold of 8,566 units beating all of its theoretical competitors, including the Chevrolet Aveo, Ford Fiesta, Honda Fit, Hyundai Accent, Mazda 2 and the soon to be replaced, Toyota Yaris.

The Cadillac Ciel Concept – pronounced “C-L,” the French translation for sky – is a four-seat convertible that opens a new chapter in Cadillac’s design and product ascent, pushing the brand’s Art & Science philosophy into a new stratum. Ciel is a new expression of Cadillac’s historical grandeur, as well as a celebration of open-air motoring.
“Large, expressive luxury is innate to Cadillac and the Ciel recalls that heritage, while suggesting where the brand can go in the future,” said Clay Dean, global design director for Cadillac. “Authentic luxury is driven by experiences, not just products, and Ciel is about the experience of the journey.”
The spacious and elegant Cadillac Ciel Concept is a grand gesture that explores themes driving Cadillac’s explorations into range-topping flagship luxury. Fiat and Hyundai chose the social network to broadcast their 2011 LA Show debuts, which include the 2012 Azera and the 500 Abarth. Starting from Hyundai, the South Korean automaker that could, will bring to LA the North American market version of its next generation Azera sedan, which has already been launched in its home market as the Grandeur. 2011 Geneva Motor Show preview. This time Hyundai is showing off the first pictures of the new 2012 Hyundai i40, which to us looks like a Hyundai Sonata station wagon.
The Hyundai i40 is the company’s first D-segment vehicle to be developed specifically for the European market, with a package of powertrains, equipment and technology tailored for European tastes. It will be shown in Geneva in estate form, and this will be the first Hyundai i40 bodystyle to be introduced to Europe, with a saloon to follow later this year.

2011 Hyundai Veloster Rally Car Chicago Auto Show. The purpose-built racer is fitted with a hand-built Hyundai 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine boosted by a HKS ball bearing turbocharger.
The suspension is comprised of Proflex jumbo coilovers that help give this competition Veloster generous travel. Hidden inside the 18-inch HRE alloy wheels (wrapped in 245/40-18 Hankook racing tires) are 14-inch Alcon rotors up front and 12-inch Alcon rotors in the rear (six-piston calipers sit at all four corners). With a curb weight of just 2,656 pounds.
According to Hyundai, the four-banger spits out out 500 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque. An Xtrac six-speed sequential gearbox sends the power to an Xtrac permanent four-wheel drive system.

2012 Hyundai Genesis R-Spec Sedan at Chicago Auto Show
Hyundai has pulled the covers of its new 2012 Genesis R-Spec sedan 5.0-liter V8 at Chicago Auto Show.
Under the hood is a new 5.0-liter V8. The engine – the most powerful Hyundai has ever fitted to a street vehicle – is rated at 429 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque. Mated to a standard eight-speed automatic (with manual shift mode), the new powertrain should shave more than a few tenths off its sprint… and go some way toward adding the ‘sport’ prefix in front of ‘sedan.’
Other performance goodies backing up the new engine include unique R-Spec transmission tuning, suspension upgrades, larger brakes and recalibrated sport steering. Wheels have been bumped up to 19-inch alloys wearing 235/45R19 tires (sticky Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 Summer Tires are optional). Cosmetically, the sport sedan is differentiated by dark chrome headlight inserts, and new badging inside and out. The Genesis R-Spec sedan will be offered in Black Noir, Titanium Gray, and Platinum Metallic exterior paint, with black leather inside as standard-fit.

Less than a month after the world premiere of the Hyundai Veloster sporty three-door model at the Detroit Motor Show, and the Hyundai released a teaser photo of a rally-prepped version, complete with Red Bull livery that will break cover at next week’s 2011 Chicago Auto Show. Hyundai is certainly not wasting any time with its plans for the Veloster.

From the unmistakable bright yellow color of the luxury sedan all the way to the touches of white diamonds embedded in the wood veneer dashboard and the set of crystal glasses tucked in a picnic set in the trunk, the Rolls-Royce Phantom Bijan Edition speaks to the taste and lifestyle of the late, great designer.
While its easy to get mesmerized by the car, it’s also worth noting that this particular Phantom also carries a 6.75-liter V12 engine that produces in excess of 450 horsepower. According to Bijan executives, the plan for the ultra rare Phantom Bijan Edition is to have at least a dozen of them built with each set to be priced from anywhere between $850,000 all the way up to $1.6 million.
the first of these special edition models was unveiled in front of Bijan’s luxury boutique in Beverly Hills, California. Unfortunately, the designer was not able to see his work come to life after his unexpected death last April due to a heart attack.

2012 Audi Q3 SUV Turbocharger Price Review
The 2012 Audi Q3 SUV comes with three different four-cylinder engines: one TDI and two TFSI units. All three will combine direct injection with turbocharging, and will feature not only an energy recovery system but also a start-stop system.
