2012 Peugeot 908 HYbrid4 released at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. This 908 HYbrid4 is a race car with diesel-hybrid , called 908 HYbrid4. The Peugeot 908 HYbrid4 designed to compete in the 2012 edition of the 24 hours of Le Mans. Peugeot aiming to run the car at the official pre-Le Mans 24 Hours test day on April 24.
According to comply with the latest endurance racing regulations, the 908 Hybrid4 will play a major role in Peugeot’s 2011 environmental strategy. The hybrid system uses the same 550 hp V8-diesel engine as the conventional 908, but adds an extra 80 hp boost thanks to an electric motor powered from the stored kinetic energy generated under braking.
For short periods of time, the extra power is released automatically to the rear wheels under acceleration. The recovered energy (500 kJ between two braking phases) is stored in lithium-ion batteries and the system will allow for powering the car in electric mode only while in the pit-lane.

At the 81st Geneva Motor Show from 1-13 March 2011, Artega Automobil GmbH & Co. KG will introduce an electric version of its mid-engine sports car. “Our aim is to combine environmental responsibility with the passion for aut omobiles,” said Artega chief executive Peter Muller.
With this forward-looking project, the company headquartered in Delbruck once again demonstrates the benefits and strengths of its manufacturing plant. Technical expertise and quick decision-making processes have enabled the company to implement a completely new drive concept in a very short period of time. Artega has also cooperated with the Fraunhofer Institute, one of the most competent development partners in the automotive sector. The research organization bought two Artega vehicles more than a year ago to test their feasibility as electrically powered cars.
The new electric model will be announced at a press conference at 1 p.m. on 1 March 2011 at the Artega stand in Hall 4, exhibit stand #4231. Peter Muller will report on the company’s progress since its appearance at last year’s Geneva Motor Show and will introduce the newly established company Artega Automobile Switzerland AG.

the all-new 2011 Pagani Huayra has been revealed in Geneva Motor Show. This new supercar powered by 6.0 liter V12 AMG engine with more power than 700 hp (kW 522 / 710 PS) and 1000 Nm of torque (737 Nm).
This machine is powered by a seven-speed sequential transmission XTRAC who weighs 96 kg (212 lbs) and is mounted transversely behind the machine. Performance specifications have not been finalized, but tests have revealed Huayra can accelerate from 0-100 km / h in 3.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 370 km / h (230 mph).

2011 Ferrari FF Geneva Motor Show. The 2011 Ferrari FF Four is a four-wheel-drive, four-seat shooting brake that claims new territory for the Prancing Horse marque. 2011 Ferrari FF Prices have yet to be announced, but we expect at least £220k if you want a Ferrari FF in your multi-car garage later this year.
Few details have so far been released on the patented set-up – which is said to weigh 50% less than a conventional four-wheel drive system – but Ferrari claims it manages ‘continuous and intelligent predictive torque distribution to all four wheels’. The low weight also helps weight distribution, while the advantages of four driven wheels aids traction and acceleration – the Ferrari FF will hit 62mph in 3.7 seconds.

Audi A3 sketches 408-hp sedan concept Geneva Motor Show
Audi will present coming generation of the Audi A3 at the 81st International Geneva Motor Show in early March 2011. The four-seater notchback sedan offers a glimpse of the future expansion of the A3 family.
Audi describes the A3 concept as a “four-seater notchback sedan” and measures in at 174.84-inches long – about six inches longer than the current five-door model. The front fascia is a further evolution of Audi’s more aggressive snout, complete with full LED headlamps and new trapezoidal grille. The greenhouse is suitably squat, with an arching roofline that terminates in a thin, low-slung C-pillar to give it the de riguer “four-door coupe” shape.
The sporty yet elegant design of the Audi A3 concept integrates the single-frame grille with its tapered upper corners and headlights with the latest generation of LED technology. The low, flowing roof dome and a coupe-like, low C pillar are among the defining features of the side view.
