Holden Thunder SV6 And SS Model for VE Series Ute Australia

This car was launched in the framework of celebration of the 60th anniversary of the original 1951 Holden Ute. The Holden Thunder package is offered on the SV6 and SS models and offers customers some additional equipment and bespoke styling cues, worth around $3,000 if ordered separately. The Thunder Ute goes on sale in Australia next week with prices starting from AUS $ 34.990 for the SV6 manual and AUS $ 39.900 for the V8-powered SS manual.
Each Thunder model comes equipped with new charcoal-finished 19-inch alloy wheels, satellite navigation, leather seat bolsters and Thunder badges. The SV6 is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 SIDI engine delivering 210kW (282HP), while the SS V8, which landed in our garage recently for a test review, gets a 6.0-liter V8 churning out 260kW to 270kW (349HP – 362HP), depending on the transmission. Both Ute models come standard with a six-speed manual transmission and optional six-speed automatic.

2011 Holden Cruze SS Australian International Motor Show

Holden is preparing competition for the Ford Focus ST and Mazda3 MPS, by developing a Cruze SS. the Cruze SS car will be accessible in four-and-five-door body designs. In 2010 at the SEMA Motor Show, Holden Cruze Z-Spec concept was unveiled and there is a possibility for the SS to look a little like that. It’s not sure yet, but a 2.0-liter turbocharged is expected to provide the power and will develope 290 PS (213 kW / 286 hp).
The Cruze SS car is scheduled to include a sport-tuned suspension and an adjusted steering system. The Holden Cruze SS will be unveiled this year, but first it could be presented at the Australian International Motor Show.

When Holden released a promotional brochure about the GTR-X, they said – “Its long, sleek hood is accentuated by a low wedge-shaped grille. The body line sweeps up at the rear to an elevated tail light assembly. Simplicity is the keynote. It is achieved by concealed headlights, sharp windshield rake, recessed parking and turning lights, and flush petrol filler access and door handles. Front and rear bumpers assume the contour of the body. To identify the car, the GTR-X identification is contained within a crisp black and orange stripe running parallel to the rocker panel”.

At the 82nd Geneva Motor Show, Maserati unveiled the latest version of the Maserati GranTurismo and the Maserati GranCabrio with the Sport moniker. The Sport models replace the S variants and the changes are more than skin deep.
For starters, the 4.7-liter V8 engine now produces 453HP and 520Nm (383.5 lb-ft) of torque, up from the 440HP and 490Nm (361.4 lb-ft) of the GranTurismo S.
Power is still channeled to the rear wheels and buyers can choose between a “robotised manual”, i.e. semi-automatic, or a conventional manual gearbox. The 6-speed semi-automatic, which won’t be offered in the North American market, changes gears in just 100ms. This version of the coupe accelerates from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 4.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph).

The ZF six-speed automatic features the MC Auto Shift management software that is also used in the GranCabrio and Quattroporte Sport GT S and is barely slower, posting a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) time of 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 298 km/h (185 mph).
Inside, there is a new steering wheel with a flatter rim and improved grip, and different gearbox paddles, while the new front and rear seats offer better support as well …

The new Clio R.S. Red Bull Racing RB7 was built as a tribute to Renault Sport Technologies and Renault Sport F1, and will be offered in limited edition to just five European countries. It will be priced at €27,900.
The new Clio R.S. Red Bull Racing RB7 is painted in a very cool Profond Black combined with Sirius Yellow F1-style blade, door mirror housings, and a diffuser. It has also been equipped with a set of 18″ black Interlagos wheels wrapped around Bridgestone RE050A tires, the same as those fitted on the Megane R.S. Trophy which established a new lap record round the Nürburgring’s Nordschleife in June 2011. Under the hood of the special edition Clio is a 2.0 liter engine that delivers a total of 203 HP – or more than 100 Hp per liter.
This 2012 Renault new Clio R.S. Red Bull Racing RB7 car also equipped with automatic climate control, automatic headlight activation, a hands-free card, yellow fabric Recaro bucket seats, a Renault Sport-badged gear lever knob, a personalized numbered plaque, and an audio connection box.

Aside from the electric blue finish, the Bali Blue RS450 benefits from a long list of additions including new side skirts, LED daylight running lights, yellow calipers, Kahn illuminated kick plates, and Kahn undercar lighting. The final element of the exterior is a new set of 22-inch RS wheels in matte Pearl Grey combined with Land Rover center caps and a Kahn quad exhaust system. The interior gets Kahn machined aluminum pedals, bespoke door handles, Project Kahn mats, a new rev counter, and a time clock with a Swarovski diamond bezel. Kahn also provides customers with the opportunity to express their individuality with any color or material they desire for their Range Rover.
